A buyer says the checkout charged the wrong shipping, or says the name on the receipt is not the option they picked. Tonight, three proofs, in a console you administer. Name the rate that shipment named: the shipping rate id, the amount, and the display name. If the list for that account is empty, write that, and do not invent a rate to fill the hole. Show a different rate whose id, or whose amount, is not this one. Show another account's list that does not contain this rate. If any of the three needs the person who wired checkout, you have not named the rate. You have a label and a guess.
This is one shipping rate. It is not the link a price opened. Which link did that price open? is a payment link id, a price id, and an amount. A link can print the same integer and still be a different object. It is not the credit a note applied. Which credit did that invoice apply? is a credit note id, an amount, and a status. A credit of zero is not a reason a shipping rate exists. It is not the person a repository added. Which person did that repository add? is a login and a permission. It is not the output a response held. Which output did that response hold? is an item id and a type. A display name is not an output id.
None of what follows is a price for the product you are selling, and none of it is legal advice. The fields below are the current examples in Stripe's shipping rate API. Several calls print one id and do not print a second rate. The figures below that are a 2024 delivery survey and a 2024 write-up of a checkout survey. A percentage of other people's baskets is not the shipping rate id in the console you opened.
The create request sends a name and an amount, and the response stores fields the request did not send. The curl posts to /v1/shipping_rates with the header Stripe-Version 2026-10-28.endive. 17 characters. display_name is Ground shipping. 15 characters. type is fixed_amount. 12 characters. fixed_amount amount is 500. currency is usd. 3 characters. The response id is shr_1MrRx2LkdIwHu7ixikgEA6Wd. 28 characters. object is shipping_rate. 13 characters. 28 is not 17, and 17 is not 15. 15 is not 13. 13 is not 12. created is 1680207604. 10 digits. active is true. delivery_estimate is null. livemode is false, so the object is an example, not a live rate on your account. tax_behavior is unspecified. 11 characters. tax_code is null. metadata is an empty object (Stripe, Create a shipping rate).
The request did not send a tax behavior, and the response stored one. The attribute list names three tax behaviors: exclusive, inclusive, and unspecified. exclusive is 9 characters. inclusive is 9 characters, the same length, and not the same string. unspecified is 11, the same length as the stored value, because the stored value is that word. 3 names are not 1 type. The type enum on that page has one name, fixed_amount. 1 is not 3. The page also names a shipping tax code, txcd_92010001. 13 characters, the same length as the object name shipping_rate, and not the same string. The sample tax_code is null, so the documented code is not the value this object stored. display_name has a stated maximum of 100 characters. Ground shipping is 15. 15 is not 100. 100 is not 500. The amount 500 is not a character count, and it is not inside created 1680207604. The page does not print that absence.
The update keeps the id and changes a map the create left empty. The prerequisite is the same create: display name Ground shipping, type fixed_amount, amount 500, currency usd. The update curl sends metadata order_id set to 6735. 4 characters. The response id is still shr_1MrRx2LkdIwHu7ixikgEA6Wd. amount is still 500. active is still true. created is still 1680207604. delivery_estimate is still null. tax_code is still null. tax_behavior is still unspecified. The metadata object now has one key. 1 key is not the empty object, and an empty object was not a missing rate. 6735 is not a substring of 1680207604. The page does not print that check. Updating, in this sample, does not set amount to 0, and it does not mint a second id. A metadata string is not a second shipping rate (Stripe, Update a shipping rate).
The list asks for a page the response does not fill. The curl sends limit=3. The default limit on that page is 10. The maximum is 100. The data array holds 1 rate, and has_more is false. 1 is not 3. 3 is not 10. 10 is not 100. The one rate is the same id, the same 500, and the same display name. A list of one is not a second rate. The list url is /v1/shipping_rates. 18 characters. 18 is not 28, and 18 is not 17. object on the wrapper is list, which is not shipping_rate. The page says the call returns up to limit rates and should never raise. A sentence that says the call should never raise is not a second id. Do not treat the same id, printed again under data, as proof a different shipment was named (Stripe, List all shipping rates).
ShipStation's Ecommerce Delivery Benchmark Report 2024 measured other shoppers, which is not this rate. Consumer and seller surveys were undertaken in November 2023. The methodology names a sample of 8,000 nationally representative households and 800+ online sellers across eight countries. 8,000 is not 800. The report does not print the gap. 66% of shoppers globally are turned off by high shipping costs. 53% express dissatisfaction with poorly packaged or damaged goods. 41% would consider taking their business elsewhere over the returns process. 66 is not 53, and 53 is not 41. 55% of online shoppers expect an order within two days, and a different sentence says the rising cost of delivery is seen by 55% of online retailers as the main threat to performance in 2024. Both sentences print 55. They are not the same 55, and neither 55 is the integer 500. A net balance of 34% of businesses are set to increase delivery charges in 2024, up from 28% a year earlier. The report prints both figures. It does not print the gap of 6. 66% of 8,000 is 5,280, which the report does not print. 5,280 is not 500 (ShipStation, Ecommerce Delivery Benchmark Report 2024).
eMarketer reported a different survey, and it still is not this rate. Arielle Feger, on 7 June 2024, wrote that 48% of US adults abandoned a cart because extra costs such as shipping, tax, and fees were too high, per a Baymard survey. The methodology line says 1,012 US adults ages 18 and over were surveyed on 7 February 2024. 1,012 is not 8,000. The gap is 6,988, which neither page prints. 48 is not 66. The gap is 18, which neither page prints. 48% of 1,012 is not an integer either page prints. 48 is not 500, and 1,012 is not the shipping rate id. A share of other people's carts is not the display name Ground shipping, and a February survey date is not created 1680207604 (eMarketer, Extra costs are the top reason consumers abandon online carts).
Meditizer is a commerce system with a storefront, distinct from the next merchant. It is not a shipping-rate ledger. No headcount, duration, or result figure belongs in that sentence. Meditizer does not supply shr_1MrRx2LkdIwHu7ixikgEA6Wd.
When the product is real and the console cannot name the rate, the missing object is specific. A record you stored, that shows one shipping rate id, one amount, and one display name, shows a different rate that is not that one, and shows another account's list without it. A startup software development company that expects this will have put that action next to the rest of the checkout screen, before a stranger's receipt is the way you discover the vendor owns the rate. One that needs a call in order for you to see which rate is stored is telling you who holds the id. If the first slice is a fixed capability, an AI integration sprint is the shape where the acceptance sentence can include the three proofs. AI product development is the work of keeping the amount, the name, and the id on the same object. If you do not yet know which system stores the rate, a two-week AI readiness assessment maps the systems. The findings are yours.
There is a version of this afternoon where hiring for this is the wrong purchase. Nothing is for sale. You have no product. You are still choosing a firm, and the criteria for that choice sit on the page written for a top SaaS development company. The only fact in the room is a survey's 48%, or a report's 66%. A customer has already seen another customer's rate. Or you wanted a lawyer. None of those is a missing shipping rate id. The sample's 500 will not become your amount because a paragraph was confident, and a null tax code will not become txcd_92010001 because the documentation named the code.
Before you tell them which rate the shipment named, do the three proofs and write the name. Name the id, the amount, and the display name, or write that the list was empty. Show a different rate that is not that one. Show another account's list that does not hold it. Do not paste a 66%, a 48%, or a 500 from a sample and call it the charge. The sample printed one id. Your console has to print the one you mean.
Questions
Three records, in a console you administer. The shipping rate id, the amount, and the display name, or a written line that the list was empty. A different rate whose id or amount is not this one. Another account's list that does not contain this rate. If any of the three needs the person who wired checkout, you do not have the proof.
No. A share of other shoppers is not the amount on this rate. A rate you can defend is the id, the amount, and the display name, or a written line that no rate was stored. 66 on one report is not 500, and 48 on another write-up is not Ground shipping.
When nothing is for sale, when you have no product, when you are still choosing a firm, when the only fact in the room is a survey percentage, when a customer has already seen another customer's rate, or when you wanted a lawyer.
